Class of 2020-2021 celebrate their awards at the graduation ceremony
The class of 2020-2021 met to celebrate the award of their QTS & PGCE at a socially distanced graduation ceremony at Bryanston School, Blandford Forum. Trainees and a restricted number of family and friends from BPD, Wessex Schools Training Partnership & the Poole SCITT enjoyed a short formal ceremony in the Coade Theatre, where the guest speaker was a former SCITT trainee, Mr Oliver McVeigh who is now Head of English at Ferndown Upper School. After a group photo, trainees and their friends dispersed into "bubbles" to enjoy fizz and strawberries, while dodging the showers. We congratulate all of this year's group who have shown remarkable resilience in coping with the very difficult circumstances, and thoroughly deserve their awards. We wish them every success as they move on to their "ECT" (early career teacher) year.
